The Future
Home Up Early Years College Dikewood GE Skyblue RPI The Future

While I retain my interest in electromagnetics and I am still very active in Skyblue Systems, I also look forward to new challenges in new areas as the future unfolds.  One of the lessons of our economy in the Information Age is that a professional no longer has the option of remaining in one job in one technical area in one company for his or her entire career.  Some of my colleagues who left Dikewood, General Electric, and other employers because those companies no longer had work in their specific technical areas have complained bitterly to me about the unfairness of life as a technical professional.  I do not feel that way.  By definition, life is change.  I feel that my education and my job experiences have prepared me to learn innovative ideas and technologies quickly, and apply them to challenging problems.

Final Thoughts

As I reviewed my biography in preparation for creating this web site, I realized how fortunate and privileged I have been in the educational institutions I have attended and the companies I have worked for.   Now, with fond memories and confidence in the future, I look forward to the chapters in my biography yet to be written.

Congratulations, you have completed my biography!  Thanks for reading this far.  I hope you found something of interest in my personal history.  If you would like to learn more about what makes me tick (to use a cliché), and you have not already done so, check out my Projects page and my Interests page.
